Crafting for a Cure
Hayley Ellis – Senior Research Sister and Zoe Guy – Senior Haematology Research Sister work in the Centre of Clinical Haematology department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and wanted to use their crafting hobby to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.
With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses and clinical roles at blood cancer centres across the UK, (including at Centre of Clinical Haematology) to provide patients with access to innovative and potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials.
If like Hayley and Zoe, getting on a bike or putting on a pair of trainers isn’t your thing, but you’d like to join the #CLFamily, you too can get your craft on, purchase an item or donate to the team.
