JOIN SIR CHRIS HOY’S Tour de 4

This year’s Tour de 4 will take place on 6th September 2026 in Glasgow with registration opening in March.

Cure Leukaemia is proud to have been selected as an official charity partner!

What is the Tour de 4?

The Tour de 4 is a cycling challenge with 4 different routes, giving people with all abilities the chance to take part. It was set up by Sir Chris Hoy following his diagnosis with Stage 4 Cancer – he was determined to show others that illness does not define you. The Glasgow based event is packed with community spirit and is the perfect fundraising opportunity for anyone looking to take part in a UK charity bike ride.

Ride for Cure Leukaemia and turn your gears towards challenging perceptions, raising vital awareness and funds, and inspiring hope for everyone affected by cancer.

How to get involved:

Tour de 4 places will go on sale in March.

Open to all, the Tour de 4 has different distances and challenges to choose from with the full ride and a family ride, to a static cycle challenge – there’s something for everyone. More details about the event will become available when tickets go on sale but this is expected to be a sell-out event so we recommend registering your interest as early as possible.

Follow in Sir Chris Hoy’s iconic tyre tracks and pedal to make a difference.

REGISTER NOW using the form below and we’ll contact you to secure your spot to join the Cure Leukaemia team.

Tour de 4 Route

There are 4 different bike rides in Glasgow to choose from this year including:

Red Route – 56 miles
The most challenging of them all, this 56 mile bike ride is for more experienced cyclists who are looking to push themselves and test their own limits.

Blue Route – 36 miles
At 36 miles, the blue route offers a slightly shorter option for anyone looking to take part in a great, rewarding ride without overdoing it.

Green Route – 1km
If you’re looking for a family cycling event, this 1km bike ride is absolutely perfect. Explore a dedicated route around the Velodrome with the option to do multiple loops.

Yellow Route – static
Inclusivity is a huge part of the Tour de 4 and the Yellow route offers an alternative for anyone who would prefer to take part in the race on one of our static bikes.

Cycling for cancer

Ride with us this September

We’re proud to have been selected as an official charity partner for Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de 4 ride.

‘Blood cancer is the most common cancer in children and teens’

Tour de 4 will accelerate the progress of the groundbreaking ATICUS Network, a world-first initiative dedicated to revolutionising treatments for children with cancer.

Taking place in Glasgow on Sunday 6 September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Monththe event will directly support the opening of clinical transplant trials and provide children battling blood cancer with access to the most advanced therapies availableacross the 11 children’s hospitals that form the ATICUS Network.

Without The ATICUS Network, there is no coordinated way for children to take part in these vital studies, meaning many are missing out on the latest advances in care.

Find out more about how Cure Leukaemia support patients in Glasgow and across Scotland here.

“I am delighted that Cure Leukaemia is one of our official charity partners for 2026. Through Tour de 4 supporting Cure Leukaemia and their world first ATICUS Network, the funds raised will help children battling blood cancer.”
