The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is a celebration of everything that is great about Glasgow!

With a city centre start and finish, inspiring urban architecture, green spaces, history, music, strength, spirit and, of course, great people, personality and humour. Thousands take part in the half marathon or 10k running event each year to challenge themselves and to raise money for good causes.

 

We could go on all day about why you should join our team, but we’ll keep it short.

10K ROUTE

Whether you’re chasing a new PB or taking on your first big race, the 10K is the perfect challenge. Join thousands of runners soaking up live music, roaring crowds and nonstop encouragement from locals who know how to bring the noise — expect cheers, high-fives and pure good vibes from start to finish.

HALF MARATHON ROUTE

With a city-centre start and finish, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run Half Marathon is a true celebration of everything that makes Glasgow unforgettable. This iconic route showcases the city’s inspiring architecture, expansive green spaces and rich history, all set to a soundtrack of live music and legendary Glasgow cheers.
