Garfield Weston Foundation Continues To Support Cure Leukaemia
We are delighted to announce we have received the second payment of £150,000 as part of a two-year £300,000 commitment from the Garfield Weston Foundation, a partnership that we greatly value. This multi-year funding provides vital funding, allowing clinicians and blood cancer centres to plan ahead, knowing they have the resources to continue delivering and expanding life-saving blood cancer research.
Over the course of the two-year commitment, this £300,000 funding has supported three dedicated Cure Leukaemia Research Nurses, who are delivering life-saving clinical trials to patients across the UK.
Their work not only impacts the lives of patients today in the UK, also contributes to global research efforts, helping drive advances in blood cancer treatment worldwide.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is one of the UK’s largest grant-making foundations, supporting a broad range of charitable causes. We are deeply grateful for their continued support, which enables us to push forward with pioneering research and improve outcomes for patients across the country.
