Inspired by Sir Chris Hoy and his Tour de 4 but can’t make Glasgow on the 6th September?  We’ve got you covered. Join one of Cure Leukaemia’s ‘Regional Rides’ in The South, The Midlands and The North-West or Organise Your Own Ride with your friends, family or colleagues and be part of our team making a difference to children battling blood cancer.

How to get involved in a Cure Leukaemia Regional Ride

Our Cure Leukaemia Tour de 4 regional rides will be taking place in September in The South, The Midlands and The North-West, led by Cure Leukaemia LeadOut Ride Captains.

Ride Captains will guide their group of riders, taking the wind at the front of the peloton, and keeping everyone together by marshalling the rear. Less experienced riders will benefit from the confidence they instil, while the seasoned riders appreciate the pace control and efficiency of group containment.

Your £50 entry donation includes entry to your chosen ride and post ride refreshments.

Each ride is limited to 50 riders so be quick to secure your place!

Cycling for cancer

Ride with us this September

We’re proud to have been selected as an official charity partner for Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de 4 ride.

‘Blood cancer is the most common cancer in children and teens’

Tour de 4 will accelerate the progress of the groundbreaking ATICUS Network, a world-first initiative dedicated to revolutionising treatments for children with cancer.

By taking part in a regional ride or organising your own ride will directly support the opening of clinical transplant trials and provide children battling blood cancer with access to the most advanced therapies availableacross the 11 children’s hospitals that form the ATICUS Network.

Without The ATICUS Network, there is no coordinated way for children to take part in these vital studies, meaning many are missing out on the latest advances in care.

Organise your own ride!

We’d love the CL Cycling Community to come together and get as many of the CL Family riding their bikes during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month – and you can be part of it by getting your friends, colleagues and cycling clubs together for a ride during September.

Whether that’s a 56 mile ride from your favourite cafe to mimic Tour de 4’s Red Route, an adventure on gravel around your local country park or a static ride online with friends across the globe, this is your chance to be part of Sir Chris Hoy’s story.

There’s nothing quite like a family bike ride. This September, as we mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you and your children to share some special moments on two wheels. Whether it’s a ride to school or a weekend adventure, getting your school community involved is a wonderful way to join Team Cure Leukaemia. However you want to ride, you’ll be making a huge difference.

Setting up your own ride is free, and we’d love you to ride in Cure Leukaemia colours, and you can purchase our official CL Cycling Club Tour de 4 rider jersey courtesy of our official kit partners Santini for £50.

Register below and let us know how you’ll be riding this September!
