Blood Cancer Awareness Month

Blood Cancer and CHildhood Awareness Month is held every September to raise the profile of blood cancer.

Across the month, we’ll be highlighting the reality of blood cancer as we Talk Blood Cancer, celebrating the achievements of the #CLFamily and sharing updates on how your continued support plays a vital role in bringing us closer to a cure.

What a 12 months it's been!

Here's a snapshot of what we have achieved since last Blood Cancer Awareness Month, with the support of the #CLFamily...

Blood Cancer Awareness Month Prize Draw

This September, during Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we are launching our biggest prize draw ever, with an unforgettable 5-Star South African getaway as our headline prize – with tickets starting from just a £5 donation!

Alongside the chance to win this incredible escape, there are also prizes including fine dining in London and signed memorabilia from one of the UK’s boxing greats, with even more prizes in the mix.

The more you donate, the more chances you have to win and help make a difference to blood cancer patients

Signs & Symptoms of Blood Cancer

There are no set symptoms when it comes to blood cancer. Whether it’s leukaemia, myeloma, lymphoma, or another type of blood cancer, people can experience different signs and symptoms.

We understand that every patient’s journey is unique and that symptoms can present differently from person to person. That’s why we think it’s important to hear directly from a patient about their experience and the signs they noticed.

Symptoms can include fatigue, unexplained bruising, swollen lymph nodes, localised pain, and bleeding gums. Being aware of the early signs and symptoms is important. If you notice anything unusual or persistent, contact your GP for advice.
