Phil Howard

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"It’s a wonderful feeling to be a part of the Tour 21 2026 team – raising vital funds for the TAP program of Cure Leukaemia. It’s a big ask and one cannot help but feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of a lap of France on a bike."

Scott McGowan

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"I feel proud, quite nervous, and very lucky to be part of the Tour 21 team. Taking on the full Tour de France route is an enormous challenge, but the support and spirit of the group make it feel possible. Most importantly, every stage we will ride together helps raise vital funds to give hope and progress in the fight against leukaemia — and that makes the journey truly meaningful."

Bob Munro

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"During my first summer of Myeloma treatment in 2012, watching every minute of Bradley Wggins winning the Tour de France, I added cycling through France to my bucket list. In my dreams I saw myself from the helicopter camera, in the peloton and on the hairpins. Thanks to some remarkable drug developments and a clinical trial, 13 years later I’m about to realise my dream – it’s mad!"

David Stoyle

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"Cycling has always been part of my life, and I’ve long followed the Tour and admired those taking on incredible challenges. In December last year, during routine blood tests ahead of a planned hip replacement, I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. The delayed hip replacement has since been a success, and I saw The Tour 21 2026 as the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for cycling with supporting Cure Leukaemia. It’s a chance to contribute to vital research and treatment development, and to raise awareness of blood cancer while taking on a significant physical challenge."

Kenneth Hayes

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"It’s a huge honour to be part of the Tour 21 2026 team. Taking on this challenge alongside such an inspiring group, all while supporting a cause that truly matters, is something I’m really proud of. I can’t wait to get started."

Jeff Davis

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"Biking the Tour de France is a lifelong dream of mine, but I’m not undertaking the challenge for a deeply personal mission: I will ride for my daughter, Lucy, who was diagnosed with leukaemia at just 17 years old. Decades of research, allow her to maintain her health with minimal adverse side effects. She’s happy, healthy, and enjoying life as any 19-year-old should. We are incredibly fortunate that this is the case for Lucy. Without the medication development from the past 30 years, her time during and after treatment may have been very different.Riding to fund Research Nurses to continue the dedicated work to give other families the same hope that we have, that this will someday be a conversation of the past.”

Chris Edgerton

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"Being selected for the 2026 team is a dream come true. To ride the route of the world’s most iconic cycling event, one week ahead of the professional peloton, is the opportunity of a lifetime. But for me, it is about more than cycling. As a lymphoma patient, I amlaser-focused on my number one goal: raising as much money as I can for Cure Leukaemia. Research has already given me more time and a better quality of life. Future research will save and extend even more lives."

David Brayshaw

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"It’s a great privilege to be riding for the T21 team again in 2026! I’m sure there’ll be tough days ahead but I’m looking forward to another adventure, and to raising money to support Cure Leukaemia’s fantastic work in tackling blood cancer."

Austin Reynolds

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"I have always had a ‘results – driven’ attitude , worked with successful teams and the 2026 Tour event will be no different. Previous tour experiences and my recent Yacht race of ‘Around the World’ in 23/24 will not only help me achieve my personal challenges but understanding how to break down large goals into manageable tasks and over set time lines will hopefully help the TEAM follow through to achieve all its goals for the event. Once I have finished training for my Everest Base Camp trek in October cycle training will commence in ernest."

Rob Gitelis

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"Every year I try to give myself one cycling challenge keeping in mind that I am 58 years old and collecting these experiences will look different in the coming years. Last year it was Unbound Gravel and the year before Migration Gravel. These events are not nearly as daunting as riding the Tour one week ahead of the race. But I am excited to put in the work to get ready for the event and the opportunity to help raise funds and awareness for a very worthy cause."

Cyman Davies

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"I am really excited to be part of the Tour21 team, which gives me an incredible opportunity as a bike rider with CLL to test my body further than ever before and to raise funds for Cure Leukaemia to help others who might be faced by this disease. I really got into cycling following my diagnosis with leukaemia, determined not to be bowed by cancer. I have been lucky to be treated with new immunotherapy medication which has only become available recently. With increased funding, more pioneering treatment will continue to be developed and made accessible to more patients."

Ryan O’Sullivan

The Tour 21 2026 Rider

"I’m thrilled to be part of the Tour 21 team in 2026. Having followed past riders take on this incredible challenge over the years, I’ve always felt the pull to give it a go myself so joining the Tour 21 team feels both surreal and exciting.
There’s definitely a healthy dose of nerves mixed in, but endurance events have always interested me so this is exactly the kind of challenge I love. Most importantly, I’m proud to be supporting Cure Leukaemia, and over the coming months I’ll be doing everything I can to help raise vital funds and awareness for their life-changing work.”
