MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN LEEDS
Why Get Involved?
1. Challenge yourself – Run or Cycle for a cause
Races for All Levels – from young runners to experienced athletes, there’s a challenge for everyone!
From parkland 5Ks and 10Ks at Roundhay Park to half marathons and cycling challenges across Yorkshire, our Leeds events are open to all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a first-time fundraiser or a seasoned cyclist or runner, there’s a challenge with your name on it.
2. Make a real difference to Leeds patients
Support St James’s University Hospital and Leeds Children’s Hospital – helping young patients and adults battling blood cancer across Yorkshire.
Your fundraising supports a dedicated clinical research nurse at St James’s University Hospital, giving blood cancer patients across Yorkshire access to potentially life-saving clinical trials they might not otherwise reach. At Leeds Children’s Hospital, our funding forms part of the ATICUS Network, bringing world-class paediatric blood cancer research to young patients in the city.

3. Join a community that cares
When you fundraise for Cure Leukaemia in Leeds, you become part of a growing community of runners, cyclists, and fundraisers brought together by one shared goal: to cure blood cancer.
There’s nothing quite like the buzz of race day in a city with cycling in its DNA, wearing your colours, cheered on by teammates who share your passion and drive. But it goes beyond the event itself. Knowing that your efforts are directly funding research that gives real patients across Yorkshire more time with the people they love makes every training run, every ride, every mile completely worth it.
