Run the Nations 2025
270 Miles | 14 Days | No Rest Days
Chief Executive James McLaughlin is lacing up his trainers once more for one final run—running over 10 marathons in 14 days for a total of 270 miles with no rest days, running through 29 blood cancer centres across the UK where the charity supports through clinical trials networks.
James will begin and end his challenge with a 27-mile run, symbolising a poignant reminder that every 27 seconds, someone somewhere in the world is diagnosed with blood cancer.
This Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re asking the nation to move for a cure.
Whether you’d like to join James for a few miles or take on the full stage distance, there are options available for all abilities. And if running isn’t for you, you can still get involved through Move The Nations—Cure Leukaemia’s campaign encouraging people everywhere to get moving. Whether it’s running, walking, cycling, or setting your own unique challenge, Move The Nations is a call to action for everyone to help raise vital funds for blood cancer patients around the world.
