Laura Ganderton

The Route 2026 Rider

"I’m excited and nervous. It’s such a privilege to be part of it, and I hope to inspire other women along the way"

Fatima Altaie

The Route 2026 Rider

"I’m most excited about experiencing the different iconic routes — the climbs, the scenery, the atmosphere and turning every kilometre into a step toward raising vital funds to fight blood cancer"

Victoria Clark

The Route 2026 Rider

"To be cycling the same roads that the pros are going to be cycling just a day later is such an exciting prospect. A childhood friend was diagnosed with Leukaemia and her being part of a trial gave her treatment that might not otherwise have been possible. I recall feeling helpless when she was diagnosed, so for me, this is an opportunity to show my gratitude for the treatment she was able to access through the trials"

Madeline Walsh

The Route 2026 Rider

“My mum survived leukaemia when I was a baby, so supporting Cure Leukaemia is a cause very close to my heart. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but an incredible achievement”

Nicola Laurenson

The Route 2026 Rider

"I’ve followed the Tour de France Femmes since before its launch, so riding the same route just ahead of the pros is incredibly exciting. I can’t wait for the camaraderie, the challenge, and being part of something special"

Kate Chandley

The Route 2026 Rider

“Taking on this challenge in my 40th year, alongside an incredible group of strong women, feels like the perfect way to mark a milestone and support a really important cause. As a relative newcomer to cycling, I’m especially looking forward to the challenge of a lifetime"

Natalie White

The Route 2026 Rider

“Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer, and that gave me a powerful personal reason to take on this challenge. Raising funds for Cure Leukaemia means helping children, families, and people like me, and combining that cause with something I love makes this challenge feel truly meaningful”

Aishwarya Prem Renu

The Route 2026 Rider

"Being part of this team and preparing to ride the route of the Tour de Femmes 2026 means so much to me! What makes it even more special is knowing this ride is for a cause that’s really close to my heart and it feels amazing to be a small part of something bigger!"

Michelle Slusher

The Route 2026 Rider

"I started my cycling journey almost 30 years ago with an all women’s fundraising ride across the United States, and it was life changing. I am excited for this challenge, knowing it may be beyond my ability physically—a head injury, the pandemic, and personal loss have all brought challenges. I have been searching for a new challenge, and the minute I saw the promo for The Route, I knew I wanted to do it! "

Claire Morris

The Route 2026 Rider

"The Route feels like a glimpse into the world of professional cycling. From the team bus transporting us between stages, to post-ride massages and the official team kit, every detail adds to the excitement and anticipation of the challenge ahead. I’m especially looking forward to riding alongside an incredible group of women, sharing the road, our stories, and the unique energy and camaraderie that comes from being part of a team"

Michelle Sharland

The Route 2026 Rider

"It is a real privilege to be a part of The Route 2026. I am looking forward to riding with an inspirational group of women with a collective goal in raising vital funds for Cure Leukaemia while conquering an epic route, good enough for the Pro Femmes Peloton"

Cassie Pittman

The Route 2026 Rider

Dr Katherine Patrick

The Route 2026 Rider

“As a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Sheffield Childrens, I treat children with leukaemia and those undergoing stem cell transplants. The ATICUS Network is a pioneering project to bring research studies straight to children undergoing stem cell transplants and ensure that every child having a transplant in the UK has access to the latest advances in medical care"

Katie Smith

The Route 2026 Rider

"I feel humbled and incredibly proud to be part of the team. It is a huge physical challenge, but nothing compared to the challenges faced by the children and their families battling leukaemia every single day. By raising vital funds for Cure Leukaemia, there is the hope that one day, cures and treatments can be found to beat this devastating disease"

Jill Willis

The Route 2026 Rider

“We have to think about all the people with blood cancer, navigating the side effects, treatment, and let’s face it, not everyone makes it. My husband didn’t make it. I will stay motivated raising money for all those patients”

Natasja Barclay

The Route 2026 Rider

"I’m most excited about climbing Mont Ventoux, an HC climb that will really test every rider. The support and camaraderie of the other ladies on the event will be electric!"

Zoe Burton

The Route 2026 Rider

"This summer my niece was diagnosed with leukaemia, and it’s turned something I already cared deeply about into a profoundly personal cause. As a paediatric anaesthetist, I witness first hand the impact of new trials and treatments"

Isabel Ashford

The Route 2026 Rider

"Riding the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and one I never dreamed of being able to participate in. I’m excited, nervous and proud but above all I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to connect with other like minded females. We will share our journey of joy, pain, awe and inspiration and come home with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime"

Kathy Haberman

The Route 2026 Rider

Lucy Obolensky

The Route 2026 Rider

"I was inspired to sign up for both personal and professional reasons. As a doctor, I see first-hand the devastation leukaemia brings. My daughter’s best friend, Coco, was diagnosed three years ago, and witnessing her determination has been inspirational. Forty years ago, a diagnosis like hers came with a survival rate of less than 20%. Today, that figure is closer to 90%, thanks to research, medical advances, and charities like Cure Leukaemia"
