Cure Leukaemia Secures Historic 200 Charity Places for the London Marathon 2027: ‘The Double’
Cure Leukaemia is incredibly proud to announce it has secured a record-breaking 200 charity places for the London Marathon 2027, known as ‘The Double’, taking place on Saturday 24th April 2027.
This marks a monumental milestone for the charity, representing our largest-ever team for the world’s most iconic marathon.
Every single runner who takes the start line in Cure Leukaemia colours will be directly changing lives. The funds raised will support vital networks of specialist research nurses across the UK connects blood cancer patients with pioneering, lifesaving clinical trials that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
And the best bit – If you’re successful in applying for one of our charity places, you’ll have the opportunity receive 2 places to share the experience with a friend, family member, running partner, or colleague!
Speaking on the announcement, James McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Cure Leukaemia, said:
