Judy Shutt knits for charity in memory of her husband, who passed…

Judy Shutt has been knitting small items and donating a percentage of the profit to charity for the past 10 years after sadly losing her husband to leukaemia nearly 20 years ago.

Judy said she loves to knit, and decided to ‘knit for a cure’, and start selling some of her items and donating a portion of the profit to Cure Leukaemia.
Judy donates between 10 – 20% of the money she makes to Cure Leukaemia, and uses the rest of the profit to help pay for the cost of the wool and buttons.

“I have been knitting and selling on eBay for about 10 years donating a portion to Cure Leukaemia.
Most of my items are on eBay at the moment but I am really trying to change and sell with Etsy, I have recently listed quite a few items and have had my first sale on Etsy.
I have sold hundreds of items on eBay over the years and have quite a few returning customers which is very nice.
I tend to make for babies and young children, I have my own design of popcorn bobble items for sale. I also knit to order if people get in touch.
I am just a lowly pensioner who loves to knit!”
