Making an impact for blood cancer patients across the globe
Funds raised by The Tour 21 are vital to support the Trials Acceleration Programme, a pioneering initiative that speeds up access to potentially life-saving treatments. The TAP Network links expert research nurses and clinical trial centres, enabling patients to benefit from cutting-edge therapies that might otherwise take years to reach them.
Each Tour 21 rider is connected with a TAP Centre, meaning you’ll have the chance to meet the teams and patients you will be making a difference to!
“The monies raised through this event helps fund clinical trials into new targeted medication that makes treatment for blood cancer much more bearable than traditional chemotherapy. I can testify as to how remarkable this type of treatment is as I am now on Cycle 3 (of 12) of my targeted medication plan to treat my Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia and the results are very encouraging as are the lack of side effects.”
