The Tour 21 in partnership with Flutter Entertainment, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Specsavers for 2026, a brand synonymous with the high street throughout the UK.
This summer, Specsavers will have a visible presence throughout The Tour 21, appearing on both the official rider jerseys and team coach trailer as the team rides every stage of the Tour de France route before the professionals.
Specsavers is rallying directly behind one of its former employees, Scott McGowan, who is taking on the monumental 21-stage challenge this year. Scott’s motivation is intensely close to home: his daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia and is due to complete her treatment later this year.
Neil Liddle, Brand Partnerships & Sponsorship Lead at Specsavers:
“Tour 21 is a brilliant example of people coming together to do something extraordinary for others. The scale of the challenge is incredible, but what really stands out is the difference it helps make for individuals and families affected by leukaemia.
At Specsavers, we’re passionate about supporting initiatives that bring communities together and inspire people through shared purpose. Cure Leukaemia carries out vital work helping patients access pioneering treatments and clinical trials, and we’re proud to support an initiative that is helping raise both awareness and funds for such an important cause.”
Scott McGowan, Specsavers Employee and Tour 21 2026 Rider:
“I’m incredibly grateful to Specsavers for getting behind both my Tour 21 challenge and Cure Leukaemia. Having been part of the Specsavers family for many years, it means a huge amount personally to have their support as I prepare to take on all 21 stages of the Tour de France route.
The challenge is going to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but knowing we’re raising vital funds for Cure Leukaemia, and helping support patients and families facing blood cancer, makes every mile worthwhile.”
Alex Smith, Head of Sponsorship at Cure Leukaemia:
“At Cure Leukaemia, we are absolutely delighted to welcome Specsavers as an official partner for The Tour 21 in partnership with Flutter Entertainment. Having major businesses step up to support our riders not only amplifies our message but drives the critical funding needed to advance blood cancer treatments.
Scott’s story is a powerful reminder of how important this event is, and seeing a company like Specsavers rally behind their former colleague and Cure Leukaemia is truly inspiring. Corporate partnerships like this really do make a tangible difference, directly impacting the lives of blood cancer patients across the world.”
The Tour 21 in partnership with Flutter Entertainment sees a dedicated team of amateur cyclists take on all 21 stages of the official Tour de France route, one week ahead of the iconic, professional race. It raises vital funds to drive pioneering clinical trials and give blood cancer patients access to lifesaving treatments.
