“I was introduced to Cure Leukaemia in 2022 when my girlfriend took part and completed The Tour 21, cycling all 21 stages of the Tour de France.As well as supporting her on that amazing journey, I had the opportunity to learn about the incredible work that the Cure Leukaemia team have done and continue to do. The advancement of the treatment has been remarkable and helped save so many lives.
The energy and commitment of the Cure Leukaemia team and all those associated was something I so wanted to contribute towards and the opportunity to be part of the London marathon team was one I couldn’t pass up.
It’s going to be a big challenge for me as running has never really been my thing but supporting Cure Leukaemia is the best reason to change that!”
