Close To A Cure with Sir Jason Kenny and Dame Laura Kenny

On Tuesday, 15th September 2026, Cure Leukaemia will host its third annual Close To A Cure event in partnership with The Sporting Club, featuring the most decorated duo in British Olympic history – Sir Jason Kenny and Dame Laura Kenny.

Taking place during Blood Cancer Awareness Month and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the evening will offer guests a rare insight into the mindset behind their combined 12 Olympic gold medals. Sir Jason and Dame Laura will share the stories of resilience, sacrifice and determination that defined their journeys to the very top of world sport.

Held in the iconic Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, guests will enjoy five-star dining, premium drinks and an inspiring conversation with two of Britain’s greatest sporting champions.
