Jess Hempshall has set herself a fantastic challenge in 2018 to raise awareness of Cure Leukaemia. In her own words she describes what this year has in store for her:

How much would you be willing to do, to show your dedication to a charity close to your heart? That’s the question I was faced with as the end of 2017 approached!

After Cure Leukaemia saved my friend Fiona’s life in 2014, I went on to raise money for them by donating my hair in 2016 and writing ‘All You Need Is Blood’ in 2017 – and I was then left wondering how I could top that and raise even more awareness in 2018.

As some of you may have seen, I recorded daily videos in September last year, to promote Blood Cancer Awareness Month – but after attending the Cure Leukaemia Champions Awards back in December and meeting everyone involved with the charity, I wanted to set myself an even bigger challenge for this year!

That’s when I came up with the concept of my ‘A Vlog A Day’ challenge, which would consist of me: creating my first ever YouTube channel, recording a Vlog EVERY SINGLE DAY of this year, and then constantly hoping that people would tune in and not get too fed up of seeing my face (just joking! Well, actually…Maybe not!) – all in the hope of raising as much awareness as possible for this amazing cause, to show any current patients out there how much support they have – and, most importantly, to bring a smile to their faces!

Every time someone references all that I do for Cure Leukaemia, my immediate response is: “I’ll always support them” – and I hope that my latest challenge will prove how dedicated I really am to helping this wonderful charity, and all of the wonderful people who are part of the #CLFamily.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been continually following my ‘A Vlog A Day’ journey so far, I love you all!
