Despite undergoing a heart operation only 12 months ago, Paul is determined to not let it stand in his way
Have you, or someone you know, organised or taken part in an event for Cure Leukaemia which you think deserves recognition this year? If so, now is the time to nominate them for the upcoming festive awards afternoon.
Seven prestigious awards will be presented to Cure Leukaemia supporters that have raised funds for the charity on Friday 24th November at Villa Park, home to Aston Villa Football Club. The awards will recognise supporters for their outstanding dedication, generosity and creativity in their fundraising for Cure Leukaemia.
The awards are open to everyone in the #CLFamily regardless of the amount raised or the size of the event; anybody can win.
Five of the award categories are now open for nominations and can be made by filling out the form HERE or following the link below. The Chairman and the TAP Centre Awards will be selected independently and are not open for nomination.
The awards afternoon will be held at Villa Park in Birmingham on the afternoon of Friday 24th November 2023, starting with a drinks reception at 12:00pm, before the Awards Ceremony begins shortly after. A three-course lunch will be served for guests, who are welcome to bring their friends and families with them to celebrate and children are more than welcome to attend. Former blood cancer patient and “Chief DJ” on our London 2 Paris cycle, Adam Joyce will be on hand to compere the event with a quiz and plenty of festive music to get you in the mood for Xmas early on. All awards presented by Chairman Geoff Cousins and Chief Executive James McLaughlin.
