Cure Leukaemia are delighted to announce a partnership with Nurhu, a pioneering sustainability focused snack bar company to support Cure Leukaemia fundraisers participating in events in 2023 such as The Tour 21, London 2 Paris bike ride, the Great Birmingham Run and the London Marathon.

Nurhu’s oat-based snack bars are covered in a natural edible wrapper which does everything a normal wrapper would do but without the waste. Each bar provides 20g of carbohydrates of slow-release energy making them a perfect snack for runners and cyclists alike to grab whilst training, competing or recovering.

Cure Leukaemia Head of Sponsorship, Alex Smith said about the new partnership, “I am thrilled to start working with Nurhu to support the experience of our fundraisers across 2023 and benefit from their sustainability focus.  Cure Leukaemia is all about being progressive with pioneering clinical trials positively affecting blood cancer treatment, so we are delighted to align with a business that also deals in world firsts with their edible wrapper.”

Nurhu Founder Mike Bedford added, “We are delighted to be supporting Cure Leukaemia and their fundraisers with Nurhu bars.  To be completing all 21 stages of the Tour de France, the 280 miles between London and Paris or running a marathon is a massive physical feat requiring lots of energy, our snack bars provide the perfect solution whilst also ensuring there is no trail of rubbish in your wake.

Nurhu bars were included in the recent mail out of the Official Santini produced training kit sent out to the 25 x Tour 21 riders in the UK and US.
