Sadly thousands of people are diagnosed with leukaemia every year of all ages and the charity is all about finding a cure; hence the name Cure Leukaemia. With the Golf Day we have people like Ashley Giles, Stan Boardman and Denis Taylor giving their time to support this worthwhile charity and help with the raising of its profile. Cassidy Group are only too proud to put some financial support behind it as well.

We decided to raise £15,000 for local charities and the staff and directors of TBK were so inspired by Birmingham based Kay White and her trek to the North Pole that we made her trek our principal project by becoming her corporate sponsor. We often claim to go to the “ends of the earth” to help our clients. Kay has actually been there (both ends). Kay’s treks for Cure Leukaemia have been behind her fundraising activities (actually 3000 miles behind in a warm office) and we are pleased to continue supporting such a worthwhile charity”
