Sadly thousands of people are diagnosed with leukaemia every year of all ages and the charity is all about finding a cure; hence the name Cure Leukaemia. With the Golf Day we have people like Ashley Giles, Stan Boardman and Denis Taylor giving their time to support this worthwhile charity and help with the raising of its profile. Cassidy Group are only too proud to put some financial support behind it as well.

“Standing in a soaking wet park in my home town of Sutton Coldfield during the Cure Leukaemia Run event in 2007 will always hold a special memory for me. Through taking off some of the expenditure of the event from the charity through sponsorship it was good to know that all the money raised by the 1500 brave runners would go directly to help those fighting leukaemia. The work of this new Leukaemia centre is so important and I am proud to be associated with it .”

We decided to raise £15,000 for local charities and the staff and directors of TBK were so inspired by Birmingham based Kay White and her trek to the North Pole that we made her trek our principal project by becoming her corporate sponsor. We often claim to go to the “ends of the earth” to help our clients. Kay has actually been there (both ends).
