We are pleased to announce that BBC WM's Red Alert Appeal has now raised enough money to employ its first nurse who will help administer new cancer drugs to patients in the West Midlands.

BBC WM's Red Alert Appeal hopes to raise enough funds for 10 specialist nurses, each costing £25,000 per year based at hospitals across the West Midlands.
