MICHAEL POWELL.

Michael Powell has been awarded a benefit year for the 2008 season by Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Michael made his debut for the Bears in 1996 and was awarded his county cap in 1999. He was appointed club captain in 2001, leading the side to victory in the 2002 Benson & Hedges Cup at Lord's. Michael has chosen to work with Cure Leukaemia for his Benefit Year. SEVEN TRENT TRUST FUND.

Seven Trent Trust Fund. The Trust can help people throughout the Severn Trent Water area. Its boundaries stretch from Wales across to East Leicestershire and from the Humber Estuary down to the Bristol Channel.

The Trust exists to help people in need and does so by providing grants to:

clear or reduce water and/or sewerage debt
relieve distress caused by financial hardship

In addition it will help to support money advice and debt counselling through its association with other charities and organisations.
