We are absolutely delighted to have launched our first Awareness Week on Monday 15th October, with a number of events across the West Midlands. If you haven't already got involved, there's still time!
What is it?
Supported by our charity partners BBC Radio WM 95.6 FM. We have a week of activities planned to raise awareness of our charity and raise a further £25k to help fund our next research nurse.
How do I get Involved?
Join in, take part in one of our activities, there is something for everyone and everyone is welcome, we would love to see as many of you at these events as possible.

We are grateful for all donations received, every penny will go towards our Red Alert Nurse Appeal, the more nurses we can fund, the more lives we can save.
What’s happening the remainder of the week?
Thursday – 100 Club listen in to BBC Radio WM throughout the day, to find out how simple it is for you to take part and join the 100 Club.
Friday – Wear Red to School or Work and donate a £1. - It’s not too late to get involved in this simple fundraiser. BBC WM Radio Presenters Pete, Frankie and Daz will be visiting schools and business who are taking part throughout the day and there will be live coverage from participants all day long.
Blood Sweat and Gears - A nocturnal Bike Ride organised by Trustee Phil Upton, where huge supporter Nigel Southern and Pinsent Mason’s Senior Partner Greg Lowson, amongst 25 others, will be spending the night cycling on a round trip of all the sites we have a nurse, raising awareness.
Saturday – Listen in to BBC Radio Wm 95.6 FM between 09.30 and 10.30 to hear why England and WCCC Cricketer Jonathon Trott is supporting our campaign by taking part in the Bupa Half Marathon as part of Team CL.
Sunday – A host of Cure Leukaemia supporters will join Team CL to take part in the Bupa Half Marathon in the centre of Birmingham. Members of Team CL include Jonathan Trott, CL Nurse Kate Arthur and CL Patrons WCCC Coach Dougie Brown and Amelia Brown. Live coverage on BBC Radio WM, throughout the event. If you would like to show your support for Team CL, why not sponsor them HERE every penny counts in our attempt to raise £25,000 to help fund another research nurse in the West Midlands.
