Louise and Kingfisher rotary club in Redditch raised a fantastic £610. We just wanted to share with you how the day went.

Louise: " The event was from 10 - noon Saturday 11th December. 56 people had attended, run at my house through Kingfisher Rotary Redditch. We had a cake stall which was run by my younger daughter Francesca and this raised £100 alone, we had two raffles one at £1 a ticket with the top prize a meal for two at The Southcrest Manor Hotel in Redditch. There were 11 other prizes, a whiskey raffle at a set 25 tickets @ £2 each, a bring & buy, a silent auction with a beautiful Christmas Cake made by one of the Rotarians wives and handmade Jewellery made by my older daughter Jessica. We also had the usual coffee/tea/biscuits and charged £2 entrance to include coffee and biscuits. All prizes etc were donated and I also donated all tea/coffee etc which meant everything could go to Cure Leukaemia. The main thing was making sure people came so as well as sending invites I followed up with calls and used facebook too"
