For as long as I can remember I've never watched any footage of the Tour de France. Why? Because I always assumed it was just a load of blokes just riding across France and I saw no purpose.

On Saturday however I popped round to a friends house to wish him happy birthday and the tour was on Eurosport in the background and I started to watch.

On Sunday I watched highlights.

Monday, I watched the highlights.

Tuesday, I've set the Virgin Media box to record the next stage. I'm hooked.

Not sure who to support though.....
